3 and 4 December Seminar and Grading

Dear QKR members,

The December seminar, Dan grading and QKR AGM is rapidly approaching.
Please put the weekend of 3rd and 4th December aside and join us in Toowoomba.
The address details for the weekend are below.
Centenary Heights High School
60 Ramsay Street, Toowoomba
(corner Ramsay and South streets).

The focus for the Saturday is training in Kendo and Iaido.

Sunday morning will be grading in Kendo and Iaido only.
There will be no Jodo component at this seminar. The February seminar will be Jodo and Kendo focussed.
Sunday afternoon will start with the AGM and then some gigeiko and other training to finish the day.

Prompt 9 am start on both days thanks.
Costs have not been advised but are likely to be $35.00 or so in keeping with our usual costs.

This is an official call for nominations for the executive of the QKR.
This is an election year and a new executive will need to be elected.
Please send all nominations to secretary@qkr.asn.au.
Unfortunately personal and work commitments will mean that I will be stepping aside
from this position and will only be able to provide a support and advisory role for the
incoming executive so thanks for the support over the years.

The February 2006 seminar has been set for Brisbane.
For planning purposes the date has been laid down as the 18th and 19th of February.
This gives the people coming back from Wollongong 3 weeks to recover and still allows
7 weeks for the people going to Perth to get themselves organised.

Regards
Kevin Humphrey
